Role Overview

The Field Operations Intern is critical to our scaling efforts. This role is focused on ground-level execution: engaging with potential suppliers, onboarding them seamlessly onto the Paico platform, and capturing vital market data. If you are street-smart, highly proactive, and possess a knack for building relationships in traditional market hubs, this role will provide you with unparalleled ground-zero business experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Outreach: Physically visit assigned markets, wholesale shops, and business hubs to identify and prospect potential suppliers.
  • Pitching & Onboarding: Effectively communicate the value proposition of Paico's platform and guide new suppliers through the registration and initial setup process.
  • Market Intelligence: Act as the eyes and ears of Paico by collecting structured field data on local pricing, demand fluctuations, and competitor activities.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong rapport with suppliers to ensure long-term engagement and platform adoption.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate daily activity logs, onboarding metrics, and pipeline reports for the operations team.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a university degree (open to all disciplines).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
  • High comfort level with intensive fieldwork, walking, and local travel within assigned geographic territories.
  • Proficient in basic smartphone usage, mobile applications, and internet browsing.
  • Highly self-motivated with a resilient, results-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)

  • Prior experience in B2B sales, field marketing, brand activation, or direct customer interaction.
  • A solid understanding of local market dynamics, traditional supply chains, and vendor networks.
  • Basic familiarity with eCommerce concepts or digital marketplaces.
